Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus finally Official launch

Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus finally official launch on 1 Aug, after months of leaks. While the ‘S’ in the product names stands for special edition, Lenovo says that the new smartphones offer several upgrades over their predecessors Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.The Moto G5S and the Moto G5S Plus. The duo is an incremental upgrade over the Moto G5 and the MG5 Plus that debuted at the MWC back in February.

MOTO G5S :   The Moto G5S runs Android 7.1 Nougat and 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. Just like the Moto G5, Motorola Moto G5S runs on cta-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at up to 1.4GHz . There is 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, but Moto included a hybrid microSD slot for up to 128 GB more if needed. whole setup is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and comes with a Turbo Power feature that provides users with 5 hours of power with just 15 minutes of charging, as per the company’s claims. The Moto G5S offers options including 4G LTE connectivity, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

 

Another improvement is the 16 MP camera on the back, which however retains the f/2.0 aperture and single LED flash. Video recording is still limited to Full HD. The 5MP wide-angle selfie got an aperture boost and now site behind an f/2.0 lens. There is also an LED flash now for better selfies in the low light. Moto G5S comes with fingerprint scanner embedded in the front-mounted oval-shaped home button. The onboard sensors include proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor The phone available in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colours and will retail start form EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 18,9000).

MOTO G5S PLUS : The Moto G5S plus runs Android 7.1 Nougat and 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at up to 2.0GHz. Moto G5S Plus will be made available in two RAM/ storage options, i.e. 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The storage on the Moto G5S Plus is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.The

Moto G5S Plus has a dual camera setup with two 13 MP sensors placed horizontally and sitting behind f/2.0 lenses. That allows for improved image processing and cool features such as portrait mode. The G5S Plus can also shoot 4K videos.The selfie camera has been upgraded to 8MP resolution and brighter f/2.2 lens. Moto G5S Plus offers options including 4G LTE connectivity, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and 3.5mm headphone jack and didn’t get a battery boost – it’s still 3,000 mAh but  the company claims that the Turbo Power feature provides users with 6 hours of power with just 15 minutes of charging on this mobile . The Moto G5S Plus also comes in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.The G5S Plus will cost EUR 299  (roughly Rs. 22,7000.

 

Moto G5S will be available with dual-SIM configuration but the Moto G5S Plus will be available with single-SIM configuration.
