Lenovo on Wednesday launched its latest budget smartphone in India.The Lenovo-Motorola partnership has been a great success. The Lenovo K8 Note is the company’s first phone with stock Android 7.1 and also the first with a dual camera setup. Priced at Rs 12,999 onwards (higher-specced version is priced at Rs. 13,999), it will be available exclusively on Amazon India (August 18 at 12pm). We spent some time with the phone and found it to be an impressive offering for the price.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Lenovo K8 Note runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and It has a metal unibody design with the camera module and fingerprint scanner in the center while the front has the 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display & Corning Gorilla Glass protection with capacitive touch navigation buttons below it,K8 dedicated VR split screen mode available on the phone for use with the VR headset.
The smartphone is powered by a deca-core MediaTek MT6797 SoC (Mediatek Helio X23) with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85GHz, and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. The processor is accompanied by either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.There’s also a dedicated Music Key on the smartphone, which allows users to launch the music app, and control playback, based on shortcuts.
The K8 Note comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. a primary 13M Pure Cel sensor alongside a secondary 5MP sensor ,Both cameras aperture of F2.0. The smartphone to capture depth-of-field effects. The rear camera has a dual-LED CCT flash module. At the front, the Lenovo K8 Note sports a 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash module.
