Huawei might launch a new phone in India with four cameras later this month, maybe Honor 9 lite

Huawei launched their Honor 9i smartphone with dual cameras on the front and back in last year. Today, the company has confirmed that they launch the successor to the Honor 9i smartphone later this month in India. Like Honor 9i, this new device also packs four cameras, two cameras on the rear and other two cameras on the front.

While there is no other information mentioned about this new device, it is expected that the device will be Honor 9 lite. It comes with 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear and the front of the device. The device will come with glossy finish body and sports a 5.65-inch FullView display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. As seen on the Honor 9i & Honor 7X, the Honor 9 Lite is also powered by Kirin 659 octa-core processor. It will be available with 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB RAM and storage versions. There is additionally a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion by which you can expand the storage up to 256GB. This time the fingerprint scanner will be on the back of the phone. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The device runs on Android 8.0 with their own skin EMUI 8.0 on top of it. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

It measures 151 × 71.9 × 7.6 mm and weighs 149 grams. In China, the Honor 9 Lite was launched in Black, White, Blue, and Silver colour options. The base variant of the Honor 9 Lite with 3GB RAM is priced at 1199 Yuan (approx. $185 / Rs. 11,700).
