Huawei, has launched the world’s first full-view touchscreen display notebook, the MateBook X Pro at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona 2018. First up is Huawei’s new laptop, the MateBook X Pro. Like last year’s MateBook X, it has an attractive design with even thinner bezels around the display — Huawei claims a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The touchscreen is 13.9 inches diagonal and  This is a display with Corning Gorilla glass and comes with a unibody metal design. The MateBook X Pro looks beautiful and weighs only 1.33 kgs. At its lowest point, it sits at 4.99 mm in thickness and will come in two colour space grey and mystic silver. The touchscreen is 3200X2000 resolution at 260ppi, 450 nits of brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It also boasts of a 100% sRGB colour gamut.

As the bezels are incredibly small, Huawei has built the webcam into the keyboard of the MateBook X Pro, but this change doesn’t look like it will avoid the awkward camera position found on devices like Dell’s XPS 13. The MateBook X Pro uses eighth-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, and For the graphics, you get GEFORCE MX 150 GPU. It has two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, a power button with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The MateBook X Pro also comes with a shark fin design cooling fan and an intelligent cooling system.

Huawei packs in a Lithium polymer 57.4Wh battery, claiming that up to 12 hours of 1080p video playback, 14 hours of regular work or 15 hours of webpage browsing. The device features the super-fast power button 2.0 which is said to enable login in 7.8 seconds from power off, and 6.6 seconds from hibernation. Huawei MateBook X Pro supports USB-C fast charging and Huawei Share technology that lets users exchange photos and files, without the need of USB compatibility. The company says it offers Wi-Fi transfer speed up to 20Mbps.
